I'm actually looking for a place to do "stadium miles". A stadium mile is when you start at the beginning of a high school track and climb up and down the flights of stairs in the bleachers as you run by them. Do this four times completely around the track and you've just completed a stadium mile.

I have no clue where to find a place where I can go work out in the mornings without having to drive to Red Rocks, and, frankly, that sucks.

I appreciate it C-D community!

Most high school stadiums are either at private schools, or a district-wide stadium. Individual high schools have tracks (which may or may not be open to the public) that have no bleachers.

I doubt that high school fields/track are open to the public during school hours, and since most high schools start insanely early (anywhere between 7 am and 8 am) and have practices and games after school, I don't think there is much time for anyone else to use the track.

You can try Middle Schools, but they don't have bleachers, or you can go to a park that has baseball fields with bleachers to do the same thing. Denver City Park and Clement Park come to mind.

If you are willing to go outside of Wesminster, there are two stadiums in Cherry Creek school district. Stutler bowl at Cherry Creek High and Legacy Staduim at Cherokee Trail High. Hinkley hs also has one. The problem is that they are owned by their school districts.
