I am so excited! We are moving to Lakewood at the end of the month from Louisiana. I am trying to figure out the best/easiest route to take. I think I can choose from I-25 or I-70. Which way would you go with a big moving truck?

It depends on if you face a chance of snow.

If you're coming from LA the most direct (and shortest) freeway route will be I-70. I-25 will add a decent amount of mileage to your trip.

If you're driving a 17' truck or less you might even want to consider US-287 from DFW to I-70 at Limon. 287 is four lanes from Fort Worth to Stratford, TX. It's 2-lanes from Stratford to Limon, but the road is fairly heavily used by truckers as a cutoff.
