Hey everyone,

My boyfriend and I are moving from Florida to the Denver area in a couple of years after we both graduate.

I heard the IT field is pretty prominent in Denver. Is this true?
How does the social work field or the hospitality field look? I have a degree in social work but I'm considering going into hospitality (working towards hotel management) instead.

Can anyone share any thoughts on the transition from Florida to Colorado in general?

Yes there's an active IT industry with a bunch of large and small companies there.

Say goodbye to heat, humidity and bugs, and hello to chapped lips, sunshine and snow.

Actually, yesterday was bug season. I was out biking and through one short stretch it sounded like a hailstorm on my helmet

The IT industry is fairly active here. The start ups tend to locate in Boulder/Broomfield with more established companies located in downtown Denver and the DTC.
