A family of three from thinking of relocating and have found out that Denver Metro is probably the best option! Our son is 8 years old and lives to play hockey, so a strong youth hockey program is a must. My husband is a certified propane tech and I have my Associates in Interactive Media and Web Design plus I've run Offices for years.

Ideas?

Tons of Vt'ers in Denver and all around Colo. Your best bet at least to start off is probably most anywhere within say 5-10 miles of central Denver. From wherever you land you can decide where you might want to go in a year or two. It is not at all like Boston or any of the East Coast urban areas, but it is also certainly not Vt. I hope you have visited. Be ready for a BIG change(s) no matter where you go. Be ready to commit to at least 3 years or more since you are likely to have a lot of different reactions -it takes some real time to adjust and learn about so many things that can be really hard at first especially coming from a place as different as Vt.. Hockey I can't speak to, but Denver is most definitely a big time sports town. I also can't speak to your job economy, but both of those you can research and pursue online and by phone.
