To the person who has been giving me negative rep all over the forum: sign your name next time, you coward! BTW, here is a sampling of what I have said about Broomfield.

Positives: Great library, great recreation facilities, good "sense of community". I'm sure there are negatives but I don't know what they are. I don't live there. My kids did high school gymnastics there; that is how I got aquainted with the town.

They are about equal in all these areas except shopping. Most of the housing in Superior is new. Broomfield has a mix. Broomfield has a rec center, Superior does not. Superior does have rec programs through the YMCA, however. Broomfield has one of the largest malls in Colorado (Flatiron Crossing). Superior has a "Marketplace" with a Target for an anchor. It is not far from Superior to Flatiron, in fact some locations may be closer than some in Broomfield.

I think Broomfield would be just fine for you. There is a nice sense of community there. My kids did gymnastics at Broomfield High for 7 yrs, so I got to know the place fairly well. In your price range, you'd be more likely to find a place in Broomfield than many other places within a 30 min commute of Boulder.

Pittnurse my guess is maybe you said something that p.o.ed someone some time long ago or whatever, now they are following you around trashing you. I have never read a word of what you said on this forum and found it offensive. And I actually look for your posts because they are always very well worded, polite, unoffensive, respectful, and in general very educated answers. I wish half the people on here (including me) would think so much before posting!

Thanks, morning glory. I try, though I am as opinionated as anyone else on this forum. Why else would we be here? You are probably right. It's just tiresome.
