This is such a HOT topic! It is funny how when you mention RED SOX you get SUCH ACTION! I guess that is why I love being a Red Sox fan, it really gets the blood pumping. I am driving sround Pawleys Island SC where I live with a huge RED SOX magnet on my SUV and flags flowing in the wind on both windows and it is funny....I either get the finger or a hat tip depending on the fan! I LOVE BEING A RED SOX FAN! I think there is only one other fan that knows how it feels.... a YANKEES FAN!

God Bless Baseball and the Red Sox Nation!

People in Denver are on the band wagon. Notice how through out their whole season the stadium was always half empty (or half full).

we'll see how loyal the sox fans are after the rockies CRUSH them!

but i think we're losing sight of the fact that 842,000 people are homeless in America in any given week.

That could be said about any form of entertainment, including the opera, symphony, etc. Some of us do both: watch the Rockies and help the homeless.

This post is not about starving people, it is about the world series....I am sure there is a post or two about that on here somewhere if you are interested. I feel for the starving children everywhere, even in here in America, but I am not going here to talk about them.

AND................SOX fans are ALWAYS loyal, even when we get our butts handed to us!

Another Sox fan here. The post that talked about how it was kind of early for the trash talk had it right. " . . . IF last night was a clue . . . ." Yes, IF. Each game is something new. Remember, the Sox took the Indians apart in the first game, and we know how close that series ended up being.

Sorry, but there's always next year...actually, probably not...
I am a lifelong South Bostonian and Red Sox fan for 39 years and moving to Colorado next year. So, for my childrens sake please don't give people from Boston any worse of a repuation of being *******s than we already have. Oh and let me guess you also are Huge Patriots fan probably since 2003?

So much for the game 2 theory.

Too bad the Rockies bats couldn't keep up with the improved pitching and defense.

Sox fans on the CBS sports forum are still calling for 6 games. I hope it's not a sweep.

I wonder what those Monday tix on eBay are going for now.

Night all. See ya Saturday.
