Yeah that does get boring...BUT I was just in Florida for a 5 days and that is definitely a nastier type of heat...I call it "instasweat".

I grew up in FL and the humidity is unbearable. It's 59 degrees right now and we had the windows open overnight for the first time since summer started. Wunderground is saying 91 and 93 for Sunday and Monday but then next Friday's high is only 55

When I lived on the Front Range, I do recall the summers could get a bit humid, but they did not strike me as very hot at all. We get quite a bit hotter out here in Oregon, but usually with less humidity.

But compared to anywhere east of the Rockies, I would not say Denver swelters, at all.

Sorry to hear this summer is so hot. But maybe it is good in a way. That part of the country (E. Co through Oklahoma and Texas) is the epicenter of global warming denial, so maybe they will get the message...I'm not holding my breath on that...

Anyone here ready to argue that today was not the most perfect weather you could ever experience?

Temperature in the mid 70's; bright blue sky, bright yellow sun, not a cloud to be seen

I totally agree with you! The people who say that always seem to be from the midwest. Of course it feels "dry" when you come from those miserable summers. To me, it as hot as hell here in the summer. If I wanted dry heat, I'd move the Death Valley. I'm ready to move to the mountains.

Obviously everyone from the south and east are gonna complain and say Denvers aint as hot as theirs but become speechless when they cant explain one, all the fires this year, two that there has been 72 days out the summer thats been over 90 degrees. The humidity, yeah does make a difference but heat is still heat..

I spent the first 29 years of my life in FL or NC and it was hot as hell in CO this past summer. I work from home on the 2nd floor and it's impossible to cool it down since it heats up through the windows and then the heat of the house just goes to the top. 84F during the day and I sweat. I HATE the heat! Humidity or not, 95 degrees is HOT.

The squirrels we trapped for stewmeat this year were very dehydrated. A little extra red wine in the sauce was hardly a luxury.
