I am researching the electric rates for Castle Rock and cannot seem to find the exact rates for electricity, can someone help? I have gone to Castle Rock's website and the IREA website that is shown on the Town of CR site and cannot find them there either. Maybe I have somehow overlooked it. Also, are most apartments around there electric only or do some have gas too?

Thanks very much for the help!

I called them.
I had to as their website has nothing and I am really good at finding stuff.
"12 cents per kWh all inclusive" was the best that I could get from them.

Depending on the specific property - either IREA or Xcel is your provider. Apartments may or may not include utilities.

Are you serious?
I think not.
Page 20 of http://www.intermountain-rea.com/NewConsumerInfo.pdf shows that Castle Rock is in IREA territory.

Default For comparison with Xcel

My last Xcel bill http://www.3968vrain.com/English/Col...XcelEnergy.pdf
shows that I paid 13.2 cents. (but, see how complicated the bill is. Only a PUC lawyer would like this bill.)
I hate "summer pricing".

Seriously, they cover parts of Castle Rock and Castle Pines. I use to own houses in the Meadows, FOunder's Village, Padera, and what is now Castle Pines.

Thank you folks for the information. They sure make it hard to find out that info; I guess they don't want you to know ahead of time. LOL
