I just drove from around I-225/I-25 and C-470 W to Kipling and I've never seen literally everything I've passed so busy since I moved here.

What is going on? Nobody seems to know what the event is

My parents are at DIA right now and they said the line to get a rental car is like 50 deep

That happens somewhat frequently though

I-25 north was backed up for 5+ miles at least
I-225 S looked like a parking lot

County line off-ramp at I-25 S was backed up at least a mile

C-470 W had some slow downs at Broadway/University

National media getting in town to prepare for presidential debate?

Thornton was nuts due to a high school band competition.

Boulder area was nuts due to CU football game, parents weekend at CU, and it being a beautiful day to be out and about.

My daughter said there was some construction on I-70 last night that backed up the westbound traffic.

Oktoberfest. On another note, last Thursday I began driving out of Boulder back to Westminster on 36 at 3:45pm which is usually a recipe for stop/slow/go/slow but it was a straight shot all the way to the Church Ranch Exit, no slow downs at all. I'll remember that drive for the rest of my life!
