Ok, so I moved to Denver just a few short days ago. I have also been fortunate enough to meet a really great girl. We are going to hang out for the first time Monday (11.12). I'm thinking downtown as I'd like to go explore a bit but open to any and all advice... she is from here so I'd like to come up with something unique!

Thanks much!

To all the natives, your city is wonderful! I have lived quite a few places and I've never really wanted to settle.... Denver has me wanting to stay!

Maybe since she's from here and you're new, she would have an idea of some place she'd like to go.

Drive 125 miles northeast on I-76 to the town of Sterling.

Eat at Baja Tacos.

Drive back.

If the date survives the drive then you have yourself a keeper!

I will save that for down the road... if it ends up a miss that could be a long awkward drive home!

Keep em' coming!

I am thinking about going downtown to explore??? but she's in aurora so that's kind of a drive for a first date. We might meet early however so maybe not.

Any rest/bars in aurora that are decent?

Or close by?

The idea of going downtown to explore might be kinda boring for her since she is from the area. It is great for you, but not for her. I would only do this if she is offering it up and wants to show you around town. I can't help you out as far as where to go, but I would just say the typical date stuff. Nice dinner (great for conversation), then go-karts or mini golf or something like that (harmless competition). Maybe a pool hall if it is too cold out. Finally, I wouldn't go to the movies just because you will not learn anything about each other.
