Are people in Denver concerned with water, or the lack thereof? Is water conservation a priority in Denver? And does anyone worry about water resources for Denver and what they'll be like in a few decades?

Yes.

It is the main reason that I conserve water as much as I do. I have installed various water-saving devices in my home (toilets, showerheads, etc.), and I practice water-saving methods (turn off water when brushing teeth, shorter showers, water the lawn infrequently).

It is also the reason why my water bill over the last year has averaged $20 a month.

I even conserve water when I am in New Orleans, or other spots where water is plentiful, and feel weird when I leave a faucet running. That aside, the City & County of Denver has more than enough water rights...some of the suburbs have been forced to buy additional rights from other sources. We could talk about aquifers, & rain shed, however, much of our conservation here is related to the cost of water. If it was cheap, you can bet we would use more. Not sure if I got close to the question.
