Now the forecast is calling for more snow next Wednesday Last night on the channel 9 weather, she said it was looking like rain, but it was obvious she didn't really know. Now I'm seeing two forecasts that call for highs in the 40s, low of 31, rain and snow. Gawd, make it stop! Oh well, at least it doesn't look like the horrible cold we've been getting, and it's book-ended by 70 degree days. Still... I'm ready for leaves on trees.

Yeah, snow on May Day! I'm ready for leaves, too. Am I the only one who thinks the trees are behind this year?

You're sure not the only one.

Most years, the late April snow storms strip the leaves from the trees. This year, the trees haven't leafed yet - maybe we'll come out ahead - the trees will now have lots of moisture, and their first set of leaves will thrive.

Go ahead, call me Pollyanna!

The forecast is now calling for more snow April 30-May 1. It will just barely be above freezing though so it could be cold rain in Denver and several inches in the foothills. Near 80 degrees the next two days though!

Love, love, love these spring snow storms. Hope we get one per week for another month or at least a good rain. My yard can use the moisture and it will help keep the wildfire season at bay.

I like it. Its the second time I've even seen snow. Winter clothes in route via Fedex but I was fine going in and out of stores in a tank top and sweater over with jeans and sneakers.
