I just found a TownHouse with a patio,1400sq ft and they accept dogs. We paid $1300 for it.

There were properties available that would suit your needs here and there.

Are you heading over to Denver to view properties? If not, that will narrow down the options as many agents will want you to physically visit the property although some are happy to have a "friend" view it for you. You could always ask someone on here to do it if needed. There are some agents (not many though) that will do the whole process without you viewing the property.
The other issue is that you are not working. They will probably ask for rent in advance or proof that you have enough savings to pay the rent or a promise of a job. Good credit will help there too.

What type of pet do you have?

I looked at a property just off South Monaco Parkway. Newly redecorated, takes pets, 2 bed, basement, small patio area about 1400sq ft and only $1200 I think. You don't need to view it either. I'll pm the info to you.

Your lack of details is astounding.

Cheap? without further elaboration I can only point you to the proximity of east Colfax Ave in the east Denver, west Aurora area. What a treat!!

$800-$1400 isn't considered "cheap" here like it would be considered in MD.
