I will be moving to Denver from Indianapolis in June with a position at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora. I am seeking a house or townhouse to rental with rent less than $1200 per month until we buy. I have read several different things about the Aurora area. If you all could direct me to a near by area that is safe with good schools (elem. & HS), I would greatly appreciate! TIA!

I would have recommended the apartment building I used to live in. It was right across the street from the hospital on Peoria. But then my next door neighbor made national news and two weeks after that someone burned the building down.

Hey, I know that building!

To the OP, the closest place that is nice/good schools/family friendly would be Stapleton. But I'm pretty sure there would be nothing to rent in Stapleton for that price. There's a house on my street for rent and they're asking $3100, but it's 5 bdr/4 baths.
