Hi - we are moving to Denver and have a son who will be 2 years old in December. What are the age cutoffs for early learning / preschools in Denver? Would we be able to enroll him in any programs this fall or would we need to wait until next year? Do you have recommendations for good programs in the S. Denver neighborhoods - we aren't sure exactly where we will live yet, but we are looking in S. Denver neighborhoods such as Greenwood Village.

We would be interested in programs that:
1) Potentially serve as full-time daycare as well (as we will be working) OR
2) A few hours a few days a week so that he could be with other kids his age, be entertained, learn/play etc

If he is too young for many of the good programs, does anyone have recommendations for one-off classes for toddlers in the South Denver area? (eg music, gym, sports etc)

Thank you!

We have had a great experience at the Jewish Community Center. The program has been around forever and is highly rated. We are a non-religious family so don't let the name scare you off if you aren't Jewish. Many families there are not.

We started our daughter at 1 going half days two days a week. They do music, gym, etc. as part of the curriculum. The staff has been great.

In the Greenwood Village area there are a couple of options. For full time day care Willows Child Learning Center has a good reputation and have children of all pre-school ages. Bright Horizon Montessori at Greenwood Plaza also has a good reputation but I don't think you can enroll him until he is 3 years old.

You may want to check out the Primrose School at DTC, they just open last March. Our 10-mo olds is with their infant program and we are really happy with them.
