Just wanted to get a general opinion of what Crestmoor Park is like in terms of the schools and crime.

The area we were looking at was along Monaco between 6th ave and Alameda.

Thanks.

One of the most expensive and exclusive neighborhoods in Denver. It's a fantastic area, but living on Monaco is not ideal because it is so busy and not technically inside the Crestmoor Park neighborhood that people think of.

A lot of the kids in that neighborhood go to private school at Graland for K-8, but the elementary school is a good one for DPS. The high school is George Washington which is not good outside of the IB program so if you go public, you will want to choice in to East.

Really nice neighborhood, quickly becoming more and more like Hilltop (very pricey and lots of teardowns and large new houses). Lowry building up its last parcel east of Monaco should be an overall positive to the neighborhood since it will have some new retail and restaurants as part of the plan, and Lowry Blvd will be extended through from Quebec to Monaco. It will also create more traffic.

The people I know that live there say crime is not really an issue, but is as you go further east and north.
