I've searched this forum and I see several favorable mentions of this apartment community, but nothing specifically about how peaceful (or not) it might be. I'm looking for as much peace and quiet as one can possibly find in an apartment complex Anyone have any current experience on this place? Also, they have a 60 day move-out notice policy. Is that normal for the Denver area? That seems weird to me.

I don't know about Denver but in Kansas City the 60 day notice is not unusual.

Huh, interesting. I've been out of the rental market a long time but hubs and I are relocating and need an interim place between selling and buying homes. I'm finding that renters are given little to no flexibility.

Both rental & housing markets are brutal to buyer/renters. Inventory is up a little, but so are prices.

I wish you luck.

Its pretty standard at complexes run by the corporate owners who market a lot of their units online. A smaller complex or a single family house generally are still 30 days.

Ask them how long each of their maintenance workers has been there...

I live across the street and I think this is a really nice neighborhood. It's pretty quiet at my place but I don't know anyone that lives in AMLI so I can't vouch for that. That complex does look really nice from the outside. There are some businesses on the first floor including some restaurants, so I'd imagine it would be very loud if you were right above that. I chose this area because I can walk to the light rail from it which I think is just awesome. It's also great that the light rail is actually on the other side of the highway ) so you get the convenience of being right next to it without all of the noise from it. From what I've seen 60 days is the typical move out notice requirement.

60 days at our place as well. Had found during our search that it's about 50/50 between 60 and 30 day. Just totally up to the complex.

Not what you were looking for, but we looked at AMLI Park Avenue in Uptown, which appeared to be very nice. And given their short supply, they must be doing things right, especially for the rent they charge. I'd guess that may speak well for AMLI in general.

We decided to give it a try since it seemed to best meet our needs. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Definitely looking forward to light rail proximity and being able to walk to work!
