Just wanted to bring this thread back and say that I'm enjoying the snowy weather!
We received about 3" of snow over in my area, near Monaco and Leetsdale. Neighborhood streets are icy, too.

Not sure how much we got yesterday. I'd guess 4-6" in the SE burbs....?

It is awfully pretty out this morning.

As an aside - remember in this weather, to tip your pizza delivery person extra.

It's because of weather like this, and worse, that we tip our letter carrier and trash service workers each year at holiday time.

And here I was just a few days ago telling the wife how weak this winter has been.

It's coming, supposed to start around 6:00 tonight. Possible 5-10 inches around most of the city.

Eff Me!! I already spent 2 friggin hours Monday to drive home from work (17 mi.) and that was only an inch. This city comes to a standstill every time it snows. I honestly don't see how anyone can look forward to it.

Crazy isn't it? Seems to me a place where this sort of weather is a regular occurrence would be a bit better at keeping things moving, but it's like it's the first time every time.
