There are also some options in Franktown, Elizabeth, Centennial, Sedalia, Foxfield, Brighton, and Aurora.

There are 1+ acre lots all over metro Denver. The big questions are water and commute.

You can get an acre plus in Conifer but if work is in the DTC, it could take hours to get there and back.

If you picked a house in Elizabeth, but work was at Interlocken - you would be miserable.

I know a very good builder - so if you picked a lot he would build you a lovely house. That would take 8-10 months depending on where, permits and weather.
