Or, as stricklandia put it, would you say "I took Maple Street to get to the park," or "I took the Maple Street to get to the park"?

Of course, you can drop the I and just say, "I took 225 because I refuse to pay the tolls on 470"

As important as all of this is, what is really critical is that you develop a taste for green chili and are driving a Subaru within 90 days of establishing residency.
If Denver's green chile is anything like Albuquerque's I am soooo there.

It's similar, but I think a little heartier. The New Mexico stuff (generally) is simpler and "pure".

Well I finally made it. I have been here for almost two weeks now. I have to say, this has to be one of the toughest moves I have dealt with. Not because of location, but due to a bunch of other little factors that made this hard. Either way we are here now and we love it. My kids are really enjoying all of the fun parks and rec areas. We also went to a Rockies game the other night and had a blast.

Which at the rate they're going with all their injuries is about once in every 5 to 6 games. They suck right now.

Agreed. Welcome to The Queen City of the Plains.
