Hello,

My name is Daniel. I have been looking at moving to Denver for two years now. I've been so lucky as to have a fantastic job that should be bringing me there soon. Our head quarters is slated to be in the LoDo area? I've lived in many cities from New York to Providence and even West Palm Beach. I love Denver's views of the mountains and would like to get back into the outdoors.

I've been to Denver a few times, but I really don't know the area well. I saw Morrison once and really liked the small town and outdoor life feel. I'm 27, have a jeep, a dog, and girlfriend who loves thrifting and works as a Forever 21 visual merchandiser. It's been my dream to live near the mountains, but probably not in a college town? Where would you recommend going?

Daniel

I'm sure many people will say the same things, but since I'm responding to you first, here goes:

What's your budget? buy or rent? How much a commute are you willing to put up with?

Morrison is not exactly close to LoDo by any stretch of the imagination. But it is in the hills. How important is it to you to be in the foothills?

Consider Golden as well. There's a college there, but it doesn't seem very "college town" to me.
