You do realize that Drew from the property brothers DOES NOT have anything to do with making the deal and buying the house, correct? That part is entirely all for show and more often than not, the couple has already purchased the house on their own with their own agent which is why you see their real agent listed in the credits.

I just watched an episode of this show. LOL Two parts fantasy and one part horrible idea. The fantasy parts are that a contractor would spend so much time with you looking at fixers and giving you quotes, that a complete remodel is going to be done in 6 weeks (3 months if you are lucky), and that finding such fixer properties at reasonable prices is easy (in the current Denver market it is not). The horrible idea part is entering into an open ended contract with a contractor, that is a recipe for disaster. The most likely result is that you would run out of money (notice the show doesn't explain how they financed both the purchase and then all that work) and end up living in a half finished home.
