Is Roxborough in Littleton (south of Chatfiel reservoir, close to Lockheed Martin locations) too far from shopping and restaurants ?

I'm looking at houses for a possible move to Littleton and saw interesting ones in that neighborhood. But, I'm afraid it would be to much of a "remote" feel...

Right now, we are 5 minutes drive from a shopping center with restaurants and everything you can imagine. It's very convenient in the busy life that we all live. I would like to find that kind of set up again if possible.

Anybody ever lived or heard about residents of that part of Littleton and have something to say about it. I would like to know! Or, which neighborhood close to Lockheed would you recommend for a family with a 3rd grader, and houses in the low 300 000's ...

Thank you for your help!

Use google maps. Enter your location. Then click on businesses. Enter some sort of business. That should do it.

Thank you for you reply. But...
I know how to find business and I know there is a Safeway or something like that. I watched the neighborhood on google earth many times. I was talking more about the "feel".

Even if that area looks far from everything on the map, sometimes, if the commute is easy, it doesn't seem that far after all. I'd like feedback from resident if possible. Do they feel like they're far from everything and it takes a while do the simplest errands. Or no, it's not that bad and the positives are ... etc... I want to know what the maps won't tell me :-)

I hope I'm more precised in my request :-)

It's certainly convenient to Martin, and it is a little out there. Other neighborhoods to check out are Trailmark, Columbine Knolls South II, all near Chatfield, even the west end of Highlands Ranch would be 20 minutes to Martin.

While Roxbourgh may have a Littleton mailing address, it is not in Littleon. Trailmark is in Littleton; the city annexed them by jumping over Chatfield (but that's another story). If you are concerned about schools, they are part of the Douglas County school system.

Anyway, Roxbourgh is a bunch of houses in the middle of nowhere with maybe a Safeway and a couple of gas stations. I don't live there, so I don't really know if there is anything else, but it is isolated. You can drive for about 10-15 minutes and be at shops, restaurants, and other new stuff that is getting built up around C-470.
