I agree. I live not far away from downtown Littleton and it takes me about 35-40 minutes to get to DIA when I'm picking up relatives or going on a trip. Wouldn't want to do it everyday but it's not a big deal.

OP should define what "a lot" is.

As someone who travels "a lot" (%50) I thought Bel-Mar in Lakewood was too far from DIA, I moved to Congress Park which is now a 20min drive to DIA.

Believe me when you are running late to flight you don't need to deal with highway variable traffic.

I would definitely recommend Lowry. Loved it when I was stationed there in 1981 and still return just to drive around and reminisce.

The town center area is very cool and The Soiled Dove gets some good artists. Saw J.D. Souther there this past January.

However, I would avoid the northwest end of the base near 11th and Quebec.
