No burst bubble here, and I know I should not engage in discussion with KB, but I will modify my original statement: "Some people complain about winters in CO....these people are not from ND, however, with the exception of KaaBoom." I win the "I lived in ND longer than you contest", so can claim expertise about the weather there. I stand by my claim that winters in CO are heavenly compared to ND. We have four seasons here, no doubt about that - it's one of the reasons many people love it here. KB does not and is entitled to that opinion, but it's not a majority opinion by any stretch.

I cannot believe how some people are replying on this subject. I lived in NM for 27 years and LOVED IT! We now live in SW Virginia, and I can ASSURE you that CO beats VA 100-1

First of all, the people out here are hateful and prejudiced
MOST are terribly uneducated, despite great schools. Most don't even have an 8th grade education!
I could care less about the KIND of people I live around. I am not a racist, but have been treated as if I have some horrible disease here; because I am Jewish. My old rabbi from ABQ is in Denver, and we cannot wait to get out of the grey days, the ugly people, the lack of education AND the KKK, which resides down our road.

The BIGGEST mistake I EVER made was to move to this horrific, snake and bug laden place!

The BEST thing my husband and I are going to do is move to CO!

While I spent 3 weeks there in July, I was the Happiest I have been in years! And, healthy!

The worst medical system in the world is on the East Coast, and I know this for a fact.

The only bad thing about moving to CO will be that we have to leave our son and his fiancé. BUT, there are always airplanes. Getting out of here with these rednecks who still fly the Confederate Flag, and the racists whom have told me over 160 times, that I am going to Hell cuz' I am not a Christian….

What religion did Jesus practice?? I have the last laugh over these imbeciles!

I would suggest Colorado Springs - especially the NE part of town. You'll love it!

PS They even have medical care.
