Wondering if there are other, similar, properties closer to Littleton? Looking for a "ranch" community where horses are allowed on one's property but the lots are between 2 and 5 acres instead of bigger plots of lands spread apart. Community amenities (pool, playground, etc.) would be awesome as well. Thanks!

How close to "Littleton" and do you mean the Littleton city limits or the many unincorporated areas with a Littleton mailing address?

If you want to be in the city, there are actually properties near Heritage High School that allow horses.

There are 34 active horse properties on the market in and near Littleton for $439,000 to 5.85 million.

Ken Caryl has an equestrian center that boards horses in a residential neighborhood, two pools, tennis courts and open space.

Hubby will be working at Lockheed in Littleton, so not sure if that's Littleton proper or city-limits? We want to be close to his work. We previously owned a home on two acres in an equestrian community in Prescott Arizona which backed up to national forest, with our own private trails behind the gates. Hoping to duplicate a similar situation in Colorado. Budget is $650k tops. We also have two children (4 and 3yo) so schools are important. Thanks again!

It's in unincorporated Jefferson County. Littleton the city, is the county seat for Arapahoe County. It's a postal service naming convention.

Do you know if it is the Waterton or Ken Caryl campus?

There are viable places within 10-15 miles of work.

Ken Caryl

you've got the equestrian center to keep your horses at and lots of open space to ride them if you want to trail ride.

there are also developments in the areas West of Ken Caryl which are equestrian properties. $$$$, if you've got the budget, they've got your house.

What would hubby's commute be like if we landed in the southern areas of Morrison or Evergreen? I think Conifer would be too much of a commute? And during winter/snow....probably be much slower?
