8 inches of snow in my backyard. The moisture is very much welcomed here. It is a heavy snow too.

I agree. I can't keep my dogs in, they love to play in it.

Today is nice. Looks like another system will hit us on Saturday afternoon/evening and may be bigger than what we just got.

Anyone else sick of self centered lazy dweebs with 5 feet of snow on top of their car?? Today I watched snow blowing off a car as it accelerated onto I-70. It was causing a serious visibility issue for several people. I wonder if they can be ticketed for creating hazardous driving conditions?

^^That bugs me too. We often tarp our vehicle that lives outside if we know a storm is coming. It makes it easier to clean it for for safe driving. Sure - you still have to use the brush or a broom, but a lot less. Worth every penny of the time and investment in the long run.

The forecast is just depressing. They're calling for 10" in the city this weekend This is the time of year when I've truly had it with cold and snow, and question why I even live here.
