By next week there will be a ton of green around town and I am not talking about the stuff you smoke.

agreed. I'm just disappointed I didn't get the lawn aerated and fertilized first.

My neighbor turned his sprinklers on over the weekend. I am still a month away from that.

Same here.. We also had neighbors actually do some planting of annuals last weekend. We will see how they survive over today's little bit of snow. I plan on doing true yard maintenance such as the sprinklers and spring planting either late this month or the very beginning of next month. I did check my trees (I planted some juvenile trees last year so I wasn't sure if they would survive the winter, but they both did and one is already starting to signs of green.

Nothing is not accumulating on the streets, but there's at least a couple of inches on top of my picnic table, and the grass is covered.

Uhg! This is why I hate April in Denver. Be done with this crap already!! You get so used to it being warm, green and nice out, then it has to do this. Looks like a cool and crappy forecast for the next 5 days

I think you guys have really cool weather systems. So much variation, but still 4 seasons with plenty of sun!

I don't mind the snow because I threw weed and feed on the lawn right before it started falling. Unless the precip washes it away the grass should green up nicely when it's all over and done with.

I never complain about moisture at any time of year in whatever form it's falling. Plus, I like the variation. Keeps things interesting.
