Though it's only been 5 months since we closed last year's thread on this topic, we may as well open one for the upcoming winter season.

Anyone having a prediction on this winter's snow in Denver should feel free to state them.

I predict that it will be unpredictable.

I hope we get much more snow than we got last year. And more per storm as well.

I hope it stays in the high 60s and low 70s down here and dumps in the mountains. That is my hope but I fear we may have a heavy snow season.

Yes, ever so dearly.

I may put up a wall on my south side so I can have one.

Yes, this is my wish! Bring on a five alarm drought to the metro area and dump in the mountains. I don't want to see a single damn flake on any road! Driving around Denver is bad enough in good weather

And now, for the bad news. On the weather last evening, they mentioned some "super sized Pacific storm" brewing that will "affect Denver" next week. Considering this is an El Nino year, and Denver gets it's biggest Fall/Spring dumps during El Nino conditions, I'm betting on over 6" of snow sometime next week.

Good news: From what I read, El Nino doesn't bring heavy winter snows to the Front Range. Only Fall/Spring dumps.

Agree, it really would be cool to see So Cal socked in with a foot of snow.

I predict I shall be getting snow tires for my Prius. Furthermore regardless of how much snow my Prius struggles through I predict that I shall be happy that I sold the Vette!
