Relatively easy commute for you.

Hi thanks for the reply. Got a lot more questions. How does school district and getting admission work in a public school? How early do you have to apply? Which is the best school district in Denver? My son is 15month old do I have to consider school districts before moving in?

In a neighborhood public school, all you have to do is live in the attendance area. The school district has to accommodate you. If you're interested in a charter school or a school in another attendance area, you have to apply. There is usually an open-enrollment period, but you can also apply outside of that period. You do not have to be concerned with school districts for a 15 month old. In most districts, you can only apply for OE for the upcoming (or onging) school year. The schools do not keep waiting lists. By the time your child is ready for kindergarten, you will probably have bought a home.

Check out Streets of Southglenn in centennial. It's very close to Greenwood Village and has everything your wife will need within walking distance. Old Englewood is another great recommendation.
