I recently posted that I was relocating from Boise to Denver and received a lot of great advice on places to live.

I have been doing a lot of research regarding the school system in the metro area and can say preschool is done a lot different in Denver then in Boise.

For example: here in Boise there are a plethora of choices for FULL DAY pre K. They have their Pre K classes in the morning and then stay in the same facility for "daycare" and most of the preschools here offer transportation to the actual schools when your child reaches kindergarten age (6) Hope that makes sense.

So my question: What are some great preschool options for pre K/Daycare in the Denver metro area? My son will be 4 in March. I absolutely need a full day option since I'll be working full time. I do not care where it's located since I have yet to even pick a place to live and will base my living around his pre K. I would prefer to keep him in the same facility through kindergarten. So I guess if the Pre K/Daycare is in a great school district that is a bonus.

I currently pay 555.00 a month for full time care. He is currently in Pre K from 8am-11:00am and then daycare (same place) the rest of the day.

Thanks for all the help!!

Jewish Community Center. Great program, not just for Jews.

There are many daycare programs that provide a preschool component. And there are plenty that provide transportation and pick up and afterschool care for kindergarten through 5th grade. Additionally, Denver public schools have a school based before and afterschool prgram.

Some of the Denver public schools have ECE - early childhood education for 4 year olds and provide a full day program in some case, although not necessarily as long hours as a daycare.

I'm only familiar with DPS so I'm not sure what other area districts provide.
