What are the options for people new to Denver and Colorado to get health / dental care?

I know one probably can get health /dental insurance through their employer - what is typically covered and at what percentage?

What are the choices for people working on a contract or not working at all?

Are there any basic medical services that are free at all?

If you have a non-emergency medical problem do you go to your family doctor or a walk-in clinic?

If you are new to Denver, then you have up to three months you can go without health insurance
and not be penalized if you are trying to figure out what to do.

You meet the qualifying event for moving to another state and can still apply for insurance
before the enrollment period through the local marketplace which is connectforhealthco.com

If you have a non-emergency medical situation that is a common illness, the medical plan
I have which isn't insurance has an awesome telemedicine component where I can talk to a doctor
over the phone or email 24/7/365. It is GREAT!!

The plan I was speaking of also includes dental which is $49.95 per month for a household I love it.

Also there are urgent care facilities which start at $150 without any type of insurance or discount
plan.

Some of the Walgreens have a Walk-in Clinic called Take Care Health, Colorado. These normally start
between $79 to $89 before any type of x-rays etc.

Hope this helps you. Moderator cut: no soliciting, please
