It may be worth while to talk to your Dad's doctor before he even makes the trip.

Regarding bookstores, Edgewater is pretty close to downtown. Why not drop him off at the Tattered Cover for a couple of hours? He'd love it!
Good Suggestion. However, there is a bookstore in Arvada that has to be seen to believed. Black & Read is the biggest used bookstore in this area. It is so loaded with books on the shelves, in boxes, on the floor that you can barely move around. It has so many forgotten books and books which I have never seen that are nicely priced. I had to stop going there because I was buying too much. It really is a booklover's paradise or more so a graveyard of the printed book in this digital age.

It also had a big gaming selection and stuff that I have no idea who buys these strange books, gadgets and games; though I see many of the Avalon Hill military board games that I can remember and that Dungeon and Dragon stuff which always went over my head in understanding.

The music section is extensive with every genre of tapes, records and discs with the ambiance that brings me back to the 1960s. If you are stoned or on an LSD trip--you would be in your own mind blowout heaven!

They were kind of two different questions, I figured. This one is looking for resources and suggestions. The other one is about how a potential partner would feel about someone living with an elderly parent.

That's why they won't be merged.

You can fly the dog out, I used to do that and never had any problems. Might want to check with a vet, especially if the dog is older.

Black & Read

Livecontent is right. This business carries an incredible amount of product. I've known Danny the owner for years. And Mike Stelk, who manages the music side, is as knowledgeable as anyone I've ever met regarding all genres of music, with his specialty a source of Colorado music of the 1960's. Black and Read has a smaller store further south on Wadsworth which is basically overstock product but is priced to sell.

Definitely worth your time!

I'm basically luring him out here with promises of sunshine, pot and Vietnamese food, lol.

I hope my daughter reads this one line. He did a fine job of raising you!
