Hey!

My family and I are moving to Lakewood, CO within the next couple of months. I have been researching places to live, and I just wanted to hear some opinions about which neighborhoods to avoid/go for?

I was looking at some houses in South Alameda - any thoughts on that neighborhood?

Our kids are 3 and 1, so we don't need schools straight away, and my wife is at home with them. We are looking at renting a 3 bedroom house, if at all possible, but a town house could also be a possibility. We would like to pay less than $1500 in rent.

Any help is much appreciated!

Do you have to live in Lakewood?
Have you used Padmapper.com with the filters?
How many hours have you spent reading the other "moving to [greater] Denver" posts in this forum?

You may want to consider moving to another city looking for a 3-bedroom house for $1,500.00. Not in Lakewood, even in the area along Sheridan Boulevard.

if you are hell bent on joining the inbound migration to Colorado, either up your rental budget or downsize to a smaller rental unit.
