Dress in layers. You'll be putting them on and taking them off throughout the day.

OP,

You have an 80% chance it will be sunny and 70 degrees

You have a 20% chance it will be cold and snowy

Even if it is cold and snowy when you get here it will most likely not last more than a day.

Weather is never a reason not to come to Denver, because it will be different the next day and is usually mild.

I disagree.

March is sunny, windy, and snowy.

Even if the sun is shining, it is very likely to be windy.

If it is snowing, it is usually a blizzard with a lot of wind.

As someone who has spent several years coaching spring sports, I know that March is miserable, relatively speaking, of course.

Well sure, but I was referring to snowy/cold vs sunny/warm regardless of wind. I would say April is worse for wind but even then there are plenty of days without harsh wind lasting throughout the day. I too used to work outside a lot doing construction so I'm aware of the day to day weather year round.

I disagree that March or any other month in Denver is miserable, but to each their own.

lol! When I've had people coming to Denver from out of town in March or April, I tell them to bring shorts, flip flops, boots, a parka, sweaters and t-shirts. March is usually "Spring I", when it gets nice and warm, then April hits and it's cold and snowy for 3 weeks. Then May is "Spring II" lol!

In my 10 years in Denver, it seems like most Marches have a long string of warm days in the 70s, if not 80 degree days. Sort of like we're getting now

Record breaker of 78 degrees today. Previous record was 75 degrees (2012). There is a also a red flag warning for fire danger.

I hope this is not a portent of what the weather is going to be like for the next six months!!
