Moving to Stapleton this July and looking for elementary school recommendations for our soon to be seven year old daughter. Thanks.

I try not to be picky, but FYI "Stapleton CO" isn't an address. Stapleton is a neighborhood within Denver. It's not a separate city or a postal address.

Stapleton schools have been discussed a lot on these forums, such as:

//www.city-data.com/forum/denve...confusion.html

//www.city-data.com/forum/denve...c-schools.html

//www.city-data.com/forum/denve...ver-metro.html

Hope that helps.

See the threads above. It's complicated.

Read the threads linked above and then contact the School of Choice office.

The 2nd round choice program continues until the end of the summer, although since my son is entering middle school, I didn't pay too much attention to the elementary school enrollment numbers. They will be able to let you know where there is space within the Stapleton schools, in case that affects what location for your house you would choose.

We are moving to Stapelton in June. We have a 6th grader and a 2nd grader for the 2015-2016 school year. The DPS school choice office has been extremely helpful to us and they will let you know which schools have seats for each grade next year. They can tell you what's available currently but that may change by the time you register. You may have more options the sooner you register.
