Ok, this one is probably a little obscure, but it will help with selling the kids on the big move....anyway, we're looking in the Centrenial and SE Aurora area and trying to narrow down specific neighborhoods to target. One thing that is a big plus for the kids is if the neighborhood pools have diving boards. Anyone know of any neighborhoods that have this or does no one build pools with diving boards anymore due to liability fears? We're also still somewhat considering Highlands Ranch, but I believe at least one of the rec centers has diving boards, so I guess that's a plus for that area.

I haven't yet encountered a neighborhood pool in Centennial sans diving board; all four outdoor pools in my neighborhood have them. As far as I'm aware, all of the outdoor South Suburban Parks & Rec pools have them, too. The indoor rec center pools do not have diving boards. Lone Tree Rec Center (SSPR) has two huge slides and a (not so) lazy river. I'm not familiar with the Goodson rec center in Centennial, which is also a SSPR facility.

Not the towns you are asking about but in Castle Rock, our neighborhood pool (paid for by HOA dues) does not have a diving board but the town rec center does and I have seen kids taking diving lessons there.

OP, Meadow Hills is in Aurora

Also in Aurora: the Utah and Beck pools.

Not sure if the Trails Pool in Centennial does, but they do have a slide.
Just FYI, that facility is gorgeous.
