I lived in Denver until April 2014, then moved to Dallas, TX. I filed CO state tax for the fiscal year but haven't received my refund yet. On checking the status on revenue online website, it states the check has been mailed out back in March to the address on file which is my Denver address. I opted for direct deposit, but the state mailed out check due to ongoing tax fraud happening lately or whatever reasons they have. Now I don't have a means to contact them request re-issue my check to my Dallas address. The phone calls are never answered by a live person, instead recommends use the revenue online site which requires you to create an online account to send emails, which again needs a PIN to create an account and the PIN will be mailed to address on file which is my Denver address. So long story short, there is no way for me to contact a live person, neither email anyone so I could update my address and have therm send the check to my Dallas address. I send a mail through USPS stating the details of what happened 3 weeks ago, still no response from their side though I provided my phone, email and mailing address in case they need to contact me. I don't know what to do at this point.

I used regular mail, may be I should try registered mail and request proof of delivery next time. What else can I do to address my issue? Plzzz advice.

You'll just have to keep trying the phone number, unfortunately. I had an issue getting my refund this year and finally got fed up and called since I also did not get any response through their email system. The first time(s) you call them the message will disconnect you, but for whatever reason, I found that if I kept calling the number and entering the same menu items, then the system eventually allowed me to get on hold and sit there for 20 minutes until someone answered. Just memorize the menu numbers to get to personal income tax, and you can immediately enter those when you first connect (you don't have to relisten to the menus each time). Pay attention to how their message sounds--it will change from the initial message to go to revenue online to a message that you should go to revenue online but that you can wait on hold. Good luck.
