If you have nice cars (like classics like I do), don't park them out in the open. Not only will the sun bake them to death, but the occasional hail will pummel them.

At least Tulsa has "mountains" and plenty of lakes to cool off in, same can't be said about the rest of that state. And I bet people down the road in Dallas would trade summers with Tulsa anytime. No idea how anyone survives July/August in East TX.

I lived for a year in Tulsa as a kid in the late 1970s, and I agree that it is a surprisingly pretty town.

People who live in Colorado without a garage are just crazy. I would take a -1 bedroom for a garage... the kids can sleep together, my car is under cover.

Every time I see this thread title, I think it says "Denver ranked 7th in US cities most prone to he!!", and then I think, "no, they're #4 on Becks' list, not 7". Then I realize it's 'hail'.
