Also, do you guys not realize that this list is for the most eateries per capita which has no bearing on the quality of the restaurants counted? This isn't a cities with the best restaurants list. Notice the amount of fast-food establishments per capita that some of these cities have which helps boosts their rankings..
I was just about to say this. Read people

I dont go downtown very often. Boulder is easier for me so Im not too familiar with some of the "it" places.

I will say when friends and family visit from PA, everybody loves the food They all leave with a new favorite place every time.

I believe they are correlated. Looking at the top 5, those cities have some of the best food as well and not just expensive but good low-to-mid range eats.

Denver has a good Top 25 list ($$$-$$$$), but the low-to-mid here($-$$) is awful, hence it lacks in the "per capita" area.

Well yeah. Who said anything about the quality of restaurants? The OP stated very clearly that this is about the number of restaurants per capita.

If anything, a high number of fast food and low end restaurants per capita is a negative and is often used as a criteria in those "most unhealthy cities" rankings.

So, maybe, it is a good thing that Denver is not in the top 20.

Wut.

There are several Denver "food blogs" that do a good job of highlighting nationally recognized restaurants, new places, "hot" places, yada yada. This is a good one to get some ideas from Eater Denver

Default Why do ironic posts go unappreciated?

Sometimes. No, all the times. You people are too serious. You should hang your heads in shame.

In people's defense, sometimes it is hard to tell if you're being serious. Your jokes are quite subtle, such as, here, using the number of eateries per capita to qualify the restaurant scene. Some people picked up on it; others clearly didn't.
