More online bravado.

I had mine on for 4 months with no problems.

I do agree it is overpriced for what you get.
And it's only going to get way more expensive and congested by the looks of it. I hope I am wrong.

What about the people here who don't even renew their plates? It's a little pet peeve of mine I guess, I see plates every day that are not just expired by a month or two, which I can understand that at least, but 6+ months.

The record was the other week I saw a November 2014 expired one. It's almost like a joke here, in FL you'd be pulled over immediately and probably fined. Do cops here even care at all?

Legally, you have 30 days to update your license. It's not really applied I don't think, but car registration does seem to be more expensive here than in other states.

I've never seen or heard of a Californian or Texan getting run off the road here. That's pure nonsense - they run themselves off the road on the first snow day under the false assumption that their four wheel drive SUV is fine in snow because it's four wheel drive.

You are not.
Me, I work at home.
Really don't give damn about traffic.

Everyone thought we were a cowtown back in those days. We pretty much were, except of course, for a lack of cows in the streets.

Main difference between now and the 60's that is true all over the West (and that I didn't see mentioned in a quick speed-read) is the incredible sprawl. I am bummed out about sprawl in Albuquerque until I drive up to Denver and realize how much worse it is there, and how far outside Denver the traffic bogs down on the I-25 mega-highway (about 12 lanes across and still bumper-to-bumper in the early p.m.). And I hear long-time residents complain about it even compared to 20 years ago. Yes, there are lots of great things to do and see in Denver, if you can get there.
