Budget is dramatically different between Stapleton and Cherry Creek. What is your budget and where is work? What do you want in a home?

Tell us where work will be and what you want in a community.

Littleton is a city. Cherry Creek could be a creek, a shopping mall, or a school district. Stapleton is a neighborhood in Denver.

Cherry Creek is a neighborhood inside of Denver, but it is also the name of a high-performing school district in the southern Denver suburbs.

Cherry Creek (the neighborhood) does not have great schools. Cherry Creek (the school district) has some of the best schools in the metro area.

Stapleton is also in Denver. It has better schools than most of Denver, but I would not characterize them as great.

Littleton is a suburb south of Denver. It has some very good/great schools.

I think the biggest tripping point in your OP is that we are unsure if you mean the specific residential area that is Cherry Creek (North) or you are referring to the much larger area that is encompassed by the Cherry Creek School District (to the South). If you are referring to the residential area, it is a very high priced area that draws primarily wealthy empty nesters and single family homes run in the 1 Million dollar plus range. High degree of walkability, shopping and restaurants (all upscale).

Stapleton is a new urbanist development that essentially offers suburban living in an urban location in the NE quadrant of the city. Extremely family focused. Kids everywhere. Good schools. Homes in the $400-$600 range primarily, though you can spend much more there.

As PP's have said, a lot depends on your budget and work location.

Cherry Creek the Denver neighborhood has one of the best elementary schools in the metro area (Bromwell).
Middle and High school are less great but there are good options. I know you know about this

Thank you for the Info. My husband is going to be working close to downtown denver. Those names of neighborhoods are what his future co workers mentioned. Middle and High school are most important to me. Currently I live near Boca raton. Here there are gated communities and homes range from 600s to over 1 million. We are looking for something in the 700-800s if possible. Homes appear less expensive in Florida. It's so overwhelming I am looking for a suburb of denver with lots of families , close to shopping, a soccer club, great schools.

My daughter goes to Bromwell and it is a terrific 10/10 school.

Why not consider the Hilltop neighborhood as well? It's just east of Cherry Creek and slightly southwest of Stapleton.

If you want in the city of Denver, hilltop/mayfair/stapleton are great options. If you want closer to the mountains/smaller town feel, but still very accessible to get into Denver, littleton is a good option to consider. Your budget should allow for many many options.
