As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to live in Colorado, I have made my mind I am going be making the move next year. I currently live in just outside of Atlanta now. I have been to Colorado once and feel in love and it felt like home. I am thinking somewhere around Denver since I am currently single male, and I would want to date. My job has locations round Denver. I just don't know where to move to, I want some place with views of the mountains, that is low on crime, and close to Denver. Can someone please help, I need ideas of good places to live

No offense wallyinco ----

What is everyones obsession with "view of the mountains"? You know you will be paying out the ___ for that view right?

I'd recommend that instead of worrying about the view, why don't you focus on getting a nice place near work? You can always go view the mountains via car. Priorities...

But if you must have a view and $$$ is no object here you go:

Just a heads up, dating in Denver sucks for men. There are a lot of single men (as a result of a thriving construction industry) and not so many single women. I have had pretty good luck meeting women, but I have extremely low standards.

Like a previous poster said, a mountain view will cost you. If I didn't have to have a vehicle for work I would go careless and live within walking distance to work. I would then spend the money I save from not having a car on a better apartment.

Denver is low on crime compared to most mid sized cities that are east of the Mississippi. Cars get broken into and there is the occasional burglary but it's not bad.

I would recommend living in capital hill and going car-less.

So where is a good place to live in Colorado for a single male and maybe not views of the mountains. Like I said my job has locations all around Colorado.

I'm paying $1630 for a 1/1 with a view of the mountains in Lakewood. That was several months ago. It has raised since

How much $? No one can give you a reasonable recommendation without an idea of your budget.

The cost of housing is significantly higher in Colorado compared to ATL. You gotta give them a budget.
