Considering job Swedish Medical Center and wondering if anyone has familiarity with comment time. Looks like route would be mostly on 285 and probably during peak traffic. Also, anyone know if RTD might get you there? From website looks like there is no service in that direction. Thanks in advance.

Forget the bus.
The commute will be bearable, but annoying:
Traffic - heavy to very heavy
Driving into the Sun - both ways

Live closer.
Live east or north or south.

The commute is a breeze up to Lowell/Knox. That is the point at which the highway ends and 285/Hampden becomes a 4-6 lane road. Traffic can back up at the light at Lowell about 1/2 mile or so and again at Brady Ct. for about 1/4 mile. It gets to be stop and go between Santa Fe and Clarkson.

On a clear dry day it will take you about 10 min from Morrison to 285/Lowell and 15 min in from there. On a snowy day, all bets are off. Traffic will be backed up from Lowell to Wadsworth (about 2 1/2 miles) and it will take an hour to get in.

There are alternate routes:

If you get off 285 at Federal and go north, you can take Dartmouth all the way to the hospital.

If you want to avoid 285 altogether, you can take Morrison Rd to Estes St. Turn south on Estes to Yale Ave. Turn east on Yale to Federal. Turn south on Federal to Dartmouth and take Dartmouth to the hospital.

You can also take Quincy Ave east to Irving St. Go north on Irving to Oxford Ave, take Oxford east to Logan, and take Logan north to the hospital.

In other words, you have options.

Morrison the city? West of C470 and north of Hampden? Or the mailing address south of Quincy?
