Do you think Denver will fair well from the construction/housing slump due to the energy boom?

The energy boom helps, but there's more of a direct impact to the western slope. Denver benefits more indirectly, as being the transportation and logisitics hub for energy development. Still, we'll take it.

As for the housing downturn, it certainly will have an impact. That has been an important segment of jobs that be hit badly. Fortunately, however, Denver has never put all its eggs in that basket, unlike many other cities like Phoenix, Vegas, etc. So, it will have its effect, but I don't think it will be devastating to the overall economy.
