I'm moving to Denver from D.C. on April 1, and intend to rent a house for 6 - 12 months before I buy. I've tried looking on Craigslist, but the choices look slim. Can anyone recommend a realtor who shows rental homes? My plan is to fly out near the end of February/beginning of March and check out a bunch of houses for several days. I'm considering Highlands and Wash Park. Need a house with 2-3 bedrooms and a fenced yard (I have 2 dogs). Want a nice house, not run-down rental. Hoping not to pay more than $2000/month. Any ideas?

I know someone that has helped us alot. I don't know if she does rentals, but I think most realtors would be able to help with this. PM me and I'll be happy to send you her info. She's a great lady.

Thanks azcater, I'd appreciate her contact info. Excuse my ignorance but what does "PM me" mean?

I am also looking for a rental agent that handles apartments. If you have a name and phone number for such an agent, I would appreciate it. Thanks,
