we plan to transfer w/ our current employer when we move but were wondering what comanies are in the denver metro area that have a really great rep as being good places to work.

i've checked out the denver business journal (wife and i are financial people) but can't quite find what im after and would like to know what you guys think.

i've seen some companies advertise that they are "colorado casual", "jeans and chaco's are welcome". this sort of place sounds great (if they'll still pay a somewhat reasonable salary). ideal places would encourage riding your bike to work, have a shower in the office, casual dress, fun environment, etc.

anyway - i suppose that i'm also inquiring about the general business culture in denver in addition specific companies that are great to work for.

thanks -

You could probably meet most of your criteria except "fun environment" in many places, depending on what you do. The engineering dept at my DH's company all wear jeans, tennis shoes, casual shirts, etc. However, they work hard. It doesn't seem like a lot of "fun", from what I hear. It seems to me most of the financial people I know do dress up more. I dont' know if they're having a lot of fun at work. Again, doesn't sound like it.
