Met some guy who claimed that Havana Street was a dirt road in the 1970’s.

True or false?

That isn't much of a rant.

I don't know for sure, but it's certainly possible that part was in the early 70s. That area was really starting to get developed in the mid 70s. My parents built a house near Parker Road and Iliff in the late 70s and our street was at the time a dirt road. The now office park across Parker from us was an auto junk yard.

My dad tell stories of Hampden being a dirt road in the late 50s.

I doubt it.

I-225, which is east of Havana, was built starting in 1966. I don't think the government would build a beltway unless all the nearby main roads were paved. I could be wrong though.
