Hi Everyone,

I am booking my flight to Denver for 4nights/5 days (3/12 - 3/17) and am planning to scope out Denver and Boulder areas specifically the following areas:

Thurs 3/13 & Sun 3/16 - Denver:
Wash Park area
East High School
CHV/Greenwood Village - Cherry Creek HS
Englewood

Fri & Sat 3/14-3/15 - Boulder:
all of Boulder area (focus on: Fairview& Boulder HS)

Can any of you give me advice on what's a good mid-point to stay in hotels where I'll be close enough to both areas, or if you recommend 2 diff hotels; one in Denver, the other close to Boulder...

P.S. I am on a budget travel

Thanks so much.

We stayed in Westminster...booked online through one of those 'name your price' sites and it was really reasonable, nice, convenient, etc.

Westminster isn't even close to those places--but there are plenty of hotels/motels in all ranges. Use TripAdvisor to get started. Or use mapquest and find several near your locations.

Actually, I mapped Englewood and Boulder from Westminster and mapquest shows and equal drive time of 25-27 minutes and 18-20 miles to both locations.

Westminster is a good location to stay, you will have a 30 min. drive to both. I work in boulder not far from both of the highschools, and I have friends that live in denver near east. My personal choice based on location, would be fairview, although I do not know much about the school myself. My bosses son wen there for highschool and he seemed to turn out ok lol.

Thanks everyone! What I ended up doing is booking the Doubletree ($50/nt on hotels.com in Englwood/G. Village (3 miles from Cherry Creek HS which is the priority on the list of to do). The rest is ~ 20 minutes from everything I need to do in Denver and Aurora... I also booked the BW in Boulder for a fantastic rate...
