Hey Denverites, thanks for checking out my post. I'm a 24 year old guy graduating vet school in May, and I'll be moving out to the Denver area in early June to start working in Wheat Ridge. I'm looking for apartments with very few requirements:

-Large studio or 1 bedroom
-$1200/month max, but more ideally around $1100 or less
-Closer to Wheat Ridge is better
-Small balcony/private outdoor area
-Convenient laundry

A couple places I've checked out so far, based on apartmentlist.com and random Google streetview searches, are:
-Zephyr Line Apartments in Lakewood
-The Cliffs at 6th Avenue West in Golden
-Crescent Flats in Stapleton
-Highpointe Park Apartments in Thornton

I'm looking for any recommendations or experiences from people who know the apartment scene in Denver, or maybe even from people who have lived in these apartment complexes. Thanks in advance - looking forward to moving there soon!

Stapleton to Wheat Ridge would be a hellacious commute. Thornton could be pretty bad too.
